March 15 2011- Finally, we have switched to our new website.
Please excuse our appearance while we transition fully to our new look.
All our members have been sent out a set of login credentials. What are those for?
The access codes you have received will enable you (as a member) two main things.
- Once logged in you will be to update your directory listing at any time of the day from your office or home(where ever you have internet basically). All you have to do is click on "edit button" on your listing. Tip: If you don't see the "edit" button you probably did not log in successfully.
- While logged in, you will also be able to add and edit events you may have on our events calendar. To do this, you just need to click on the +(plus)sign on the particular date of your choice. This will open a new screen for you with the Subject(effectively the title of your event) CAtegories and Access level which you should IGNORE, activity (description of your event/activity)Location (where you would have this event),Contact( the contact person of the event)and extra info. You will see that towards the top there is a calendar tab. Once clicked on, you can select the start /end time and date and if it is an ongoing event, you can repeat it daily, weekly or monthly. Tip: Your events need to be approved by us so it will be not be displayed on our website instantly.

March 16 2011- Continuing on from yesterdays notes, I have given access to FBA committee chairs to contribute on our new website.
So, as well as having access to functions above like all FBA members, committee chairs will be able to add/edit their own content to their designated pages.
Login to our website by clicking on Member Login.
Enter your credentials
Navigate to your designated page.
Click on Notepad & Pen at the top of the page.
You will now be able to add/edit your contribution to our new website.
Don't forget to click on Save once you finished!
TIP: Once logged in , the commite chairs will notice a notepad and pen on most pages. Should you click on any of those pages but your own, the system will direct you to our home page as you only have access to your own committee page.
March 21 2011- Fixed a small bug. But in order to fix it I had to temporarily disable the directory module of our website. All members should have full access to Directory listings and Events Calender.
July 23 2011- What happens if I forgot my login details?
Go to the Member Login page on our website. You will notice, under the Login Button, "Forgot your Password?" and "Forgot your Username?" links. Click on the link that applies to your situation. and follow the instructions. The system will send you an automated email with set of instructions so you can reset your password.
